Art & Agency Faculty Art Show
Art & Agency features more than three-dozen drawings, paintings, designs, prints, light-works, animations, film-shorts, social sculptures and both aesthetic and functional works of wood, metal, clay, cloth, printed plastic, silicone and found objects by Edinboro art educators, art historians, artists and designers. This year’s Faculty show was arranged and installed by EU Graduate Painter Erikka Spaid who serves as the gallery’s assistant director. Spaid was aided by nine undergraduate and graduate students and guided by Dietrich Wegner, the Department’s new assistant chair - and Bruce Gallery Director Emeritus. The gallery’s graphic designer, student Morgan Kupchella, created a special 100th year commemorative poster featuring a tiny beetle, harkening back to the early Loveland Hall days of Waldo Bates and his King Tut-inspired ScaRAb Club. Learn more at BruceGallery.info or on Instagram @brucegallery.eu.
