Education Clubs Informational Meeting

Students interested in joining an Education club are invited to attend an informational meeting on Monday, Jan. 28, at 7:30 p.m. in Butterfield Hall, Room 101.

Open to All Education Majors
Focus on community service, member development, professional development and political advocacy
Attend Region Conference on Feb. 23
Attend State Conference March 28-30

Council for Exceptional Students
For students who want to work with children and adults with special needs
Focus on expanding social opportunities
ESO Dances paired with the Barber National Institute
Attend State Conference on Oct. 8

Early Childhood Club
For students who want to advocate for the education of all children birth through age 8
Focus on developmentally appropriate practices, classroom ideas and professional development

Middle and Secondary Club
For students who are Middle and Secondary Education majors
Focus on professional development and community service

Kappa Delta Pi
Education Honors Society
Must have at least 12 education credits, 30 credit hours and 3.2 QPA to join
Focus on community service and professional development
