9:00 PM - 11:00 PM Movies Under the Stars
Each Thursday from July 11 to August 1, Edinboro will host “Movies under the Stars,” beginning at 9 p.m. on the lawns behind the Frank G. Pogue Student Center, 405 Scotland Road. Attendance and parking are free. Guests may park in the lot across from the McComb Fieldhouse or next to the Baron-Forness Library.

July 11: Shrek
July 18: The Goonies
July 25: Tangled
Aug. 1: Monsters, Inc.

Complimentary popcorn and snow cones will be provided. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and snacks of their own as well.

In the case of inclement weather, the film series will be held in the Pogue Student Center.

2:00 PM Piano Class for Adult Beginners
As part of the Edinboro University Community Music School, a 10-week piano course for adult beginners will be offered beginning Wednesday, Sept. 19. The class will meet in the electronic piano lab in the Alexander Music Center on Wednesdays at 2 p.m.

Join Edinboro University as we present Kevin Hines, an award-winning global speaker and mental health advocate, who will share his experience in a captivating discussion. Kevin Hines is a brain/mental health advocate, award-winning global speaker, bestselling author and documentary filmmaker who reaches audiences with his story of an unlikely survival and his strong will to live. Two years after he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at 19, he attempted to take his life by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. He is one of only thirty-four to survive the fall, and the only one to regain full physical mobility. He is the only Golden Gate Bridge jump survivor who is actively spreading the message of living mentally healthy. Today, Kevin dedicates his life to saving lives by spreading the message of hope and sharing his art of living mentally well.
