Fiction Reading by Mike McClelland
Join the Department of English & Philosophy to hear author Mike McClelland read from "Gay Zoo Day," recipient of the 2017 Silver IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award for #LGBTQ Literature.

Mike’s work has appeared in the Boston Review, Entropy, Queens Mob’s Tea House, Permafrost, and other publications. A Meadville PA native, he is a graduate of Allegheny College, The London School of Economics, and the MFA program at Georgia College. He is currently enrolled in the University of Georgia’s Creative Writing Ph.D. program. This event is free and open to the public.

V.I.B.E is an acronym that is representative of four specific areas of culture that our campus programming is designed to present to the campus.

The V.I.B.E. acronym: V stands for Variety, I stands for Innovation, B stands for Beauty and E stands for Energy! With VIBE Performance: Step up to da Mic, we are looking for student artists to express and showcase their talent!

Come out and VIBE with us slam poets, singers, rappers, and dancers! We invite you to Step up to da Mic!

Performers MUST register by Monday, October 21st in order to be included in the performance line up!
