- Tuesday, October 7: Do I Have To Write That Down? Is this going to be on the test? Learn how to improve your strategies for taking notes in class. Discover some ideas on how to take more effective notes that will help you learn and retain information.
- Thursday, October 16: There's Still Time To get Organized! Take charge of your schedule! Learn to plan, prioritize, and manage your time and avoid procrastination. This workshop will help you manage your time using various tools and time management strategies.
- Tuesday, October 21: Smarthinking. Did you know Edinboro University is offering free online tutoring through Smarthinking? Tutors are trained to provide high-quality learning assistance to you, up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! This supplemental online tutoring service is available to you via your D2L Account. Through Smarthinking you can interact with a tutor in real time, use the Writing Center to receive feedback on writing assignments, and submit an offline question to receive a reply from a tutor. Come to this workshop to see a demonstration on how to use Smarthinking Online Tutoring!
- Wednesdays: October 29; November 5 & 12: Pre-scheduling Workshop - Room 218 Computer Lab
- Tuesday, November 18: It's a Marathon, Not a Sprint: Surviving Finals When should I start preparing for my exams? How much time should I spend studying?
