Start Day Kilted Mile (Multi-Day Event)
The Kilted Mile is an Edinboro University tradition that originated as part of the first Highland Games and Scottish Festival in 1993. The Kilted Mile – in all its tartan glory – keeps our traditions alive at Homecoming 2020. From weekend warriors to casual runners to families and kids of all ages, everyone is welcome to participate.

This year's race will take place ANYWHERE between Wednesday, Sept. 30, and Sunday, Oct. 4. Participants will track their own times. Race results must be sent in by Monday, Oct. 5, at noon. The traditional Kilted Mile course (Darrow road to Meadville Street ending at the crosswalk between Flip and the Hotel) will be set up Wednesday through Sunday, but racers can participate at any location. After racers have registered, they will receive an email with more information about submitting their race times. 

$50 prize for top Men’s and Women’s open and top Men’s and Women’s wheelchair divisions

End Day Food and Toiletry Drive (Multi-Day Event)
Edinboro University’s Student Health Services is collecting non-perishable food items and toiletries for the campus food pantry now through Tuesday, Nov. 19. Please consider helping students in need this holiday season by making a donation at Ghering Health and Wellness Center in McNerney Hall.

Suggested donations include shampoo and conditioner, toothbrushes and toothpaste, cleaning and laundry products, toilet paper and paper towels, soap and non-perishable food items.

Food and hygiene items are available to students in the Ghering Health and Wellness Center. Students who are in need of these resources should contact Student Health Services at (814) 732–2743.

Interested in studying abroad for a semester, summer, or year, but don't know where to start? Meet with Keara DeKay, a representative of CIS Abroad on the different options they offer for a long-term study abroad experience! Table will be in the Library Lobby near Starbucks.
12:00 PM - 2:00 PM Thank a Donor Week
Enjoy a cookie and write a thank you note to our generous donors. Please bring a box of candy canes to help us spread Christmas cheer to those struggling during the holiday season. 
3:00 PM Student Start-Up Hub Open House
Edinboro University will unveil its new Student Start-Up Hub at an open house scheduled for 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19.

The facility, which serves as a business development center/co-working space for Edinboro students who are starting a new business, is located on the second floor of Baron-Forness Library, adjacent to the university’s Center for Branding and Strategic Communication.
6:00 PM EU Planetarium presents "World at Night"
World at Night

Specifically for children ages 1 - 12, join us as we meet our nighttime friends who live on Presque Isle. One of our friends, the wise old owl, will introduce us to the night sky!

If weather permits, public viewing in the observatory will follow each evening show. Reservations are required and can be made at or by calling 814-732-2493.

Info: Auditions for our Spring Play, Arthur Miller's The Crucible. Reading materials will be posted here and outside research is encouraged. Personal monologues are not required by welcomed. All experience levels are welcomed! Join us as Edinboro re-imagines Miller's classical tale of paranoia, greed, and fear in all new and modern way.
