9:00 PM - 11:00 PM Movies Under the Stars
Each Thursday from July 11 to August 1, Edinboro will host “Movies under the Stars,” beginning at 9 p.m. on the lawns behind the Frank G. Pogue Student Center, 405 Scotland Road. Attendance and parking are free. Guests may park in the lot across from the McComb Fieldhouse or next to the Baron-Forness Library.

July 11: Shrek
July 18: The Goonies
July 25: Tangled
Aug. 1: Monsters, Inc.

Complimentary popcorn and snow cones will be provided. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and snacks of their own as well.

In the case of inclement weather, the film series will be held in the Pogue Student Center.

The Edinboro University Campus Bookstore will hold its annual Holiday Sale Dec. 3-8 during regular store hours. All clothing and gift items will be 25 percent off.

Kilts, graduation attire, books and art supplies are excluded from this sale.
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM Women in Modern Muslim Societies
Dr. Baher Ghosheh's presentation will focus on the changing role of women in various Muslim societies. This presentation will examine a great variety of female experiences in several Muslim countries and demonstrate that their differences are, in large part, a reflection of cultural influences and government policies and not due to religious sectarianism.
