JCPenney is partnering with the Edinboro University Career Center to provide professional clothing at a discounted price. During the event, students and alumni can purchase suits, dresses, sport coats, pants, skirts, blouses, ties, accessories, bags and shoes to build a career wardrobe.

In addition to these savings, the Center for Career Development and Experiential Learning has teamed up with the Edinboro University Foundation to provide five students a $100 JCPenney gift card that may be used during the event. Recipients will be selected at random during check-in, and must be in attendance for a chance to win.

Webinar Participation Outcomes: • Identify the unique challenges men of color experience in higher education — develop institutionalized support systems that address their academic, social, financial, professional and emotional needs. • Explore the various ways formal and informal mentorship supports men of color — review theories and trends of today that will serve as a framework for your mentor-mentee relationships. • Create a culturally competent and responsive campus community for your male students of color — incorporate the appropriate structure necessary to ensure they feel valued, safe, a sense of belonging and supported. • Facilitate critical conversations with key stakeholders on your campus to make resources available to assist men of color. • Recognize the continuous impact to students of color on campus and allow safe opportunities for them to express themselves through interactive touch points every week.
