Lacers of the Lake Lace Exhibit (Multi-Day Event)
Lacers of the Lake is sponsoring "Great Scot - That's Lace?", an exhibit of handmade lace. The exhibit will be on display in the display case located in the lobby of the 1st floor of the Baron-Forness Library for the month of September 2017.

Library hours:
Monday-Thursday: 8 a.m. until midnight
Friday: 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Sunday: 1:30-10 p.m.
Social Equity Distinguished Lecturer Presentation
Dr. Kristin Webber will present, "Using Literature to Build A Sense of Community and Inclusiveness" Presentation Overview: The classroom environment goes a long way in building and cultivating inclusive relationships among young students. Quality literature is one way to build these relationships. Through this presentation, I will share how my journey with The Freedom Writers Diary united a group of reluctant learners in an urban, middle-school and created opportunities that transformed classroom learning and my philosophy on teaching.

Wholly Happy Festival 2017
Hello! On Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 9:00am-4:00pm, 40 local Erie businesses will be gathering at the Erie Day School at the first annual "Wholly Happy Festival: Tools For Wellness" event to showcase all the unique wellness options that Erie has to offer. This event is FREE and open to the public, family & kid friendly, and is a great way to sample all the different tools for healthful living that Erie has to offer.
