The Drowsy Chaperone

Edinboro University Theatre's presentation of “The Drowsy Chaperone” – a parody of American musical comedy of the 1920s – continues this week in the Diebold Center for the Performing Arts.

The story follows a middle-aged, asocial musical theatre fan as he plays the record of his favorite musical, the fictional 1928 hit “The Drowsy Chaperone.” The show comes to life before him as he wryly comments on the music, story and actors.

Remaining showtimes are Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

Tickets:
Edinboro University students: $3
Faculty, staff, senior citizens and veterans: $5
General admission: $8

Tickets are available at the door.
