As part of Women's History Month, Edinboro University presents a virtual show featuring actress Rosa Rodriguez and a core ensemble of cello, piano and percussion, followed by a Zoom interaction with Rodriguez.
The performance is based on the lives of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, Salvadoran peasant activist Rufina Amaya and Argentinean poet Alfonsina Storni. Music ranges from traditional Mexican folk and Argentine tango songs sung in Spanish to instrumental works by Latino composers.
